Marketplace Orders unavailable

10/31/2024 11:42 a.m.: Due to a backend connection error you may receive an "Access is Denied" error when attempting to place an order on the Western Marketplace. The ability to place orders has been suspended while this issue is being investigated.

Campus Phone Queues Inaccessible

10/10/2024 10:40 a.m. : This issue is impacting organizations using Teams Voice nationwide. Microsoft is currently working on a solution.

10/10/2024 10:15 a.m. : It has been reported that some campus phone queues are unavailable, resulting in incoming calls being dropped before being connected. Calls to staff direct numbers and outgoing calls have been observed to be working. We are currently investigating and working to restore call queue functionality.

DegreeWorks Upgrade September 18
Status: ResolvedDegreeWorks will be unavailable on Wednesday, September 18 from 8am-5pm for an upgrade. If in need of DegreeWorks, departments running trainings during this time should contact the Registrar's Office Systems department at ro.systems@wwu.edu.
Wi-Fi Upgrades may require Forget/Reconnect of WWUwireless-Secure

9/18/2024 8:24 am: It is reported that WWUwireless-Guest is not working as expected following this upgrade. Our network technicians are investigating the cause. WWUwirelss-Secure is working as expected at this time.

On 9/17/2024 an expansion to upgrade the wireless system to accommodate increased system load will require a deployment of a new certificate. What this means is that you may experience some trouble connecting to the WWUwireless-Secure Wi-Fi network following the upgrade due to a change in the certificate used for connecting. To obtain the newest certificate, on 9/17 forget the WWUwireless-Secure network within your device's wireless settings, then reconnect using your most recent universal account credentials.
Employees with WWU owned Windows laptops may need to restart their computer and log in on campus instead of forgetting the network.
If you continue to have trouble connecting to WWUwireless-Secure after forgetting the network, please reach out to the ATUS Help Desk.
RESOLVED - Web4U Errors
Status: Resolved10:30am – Issue is resolved, access to registration services restored.
8:30 am – We have received reports of 404 and Bad Gateway errors in Web4U as registration and waitlisting has reopened. ITS is investigating.

To apply important updates for Financial Aid, the following systems will be unavailable Friday, August 30, from 10:31 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.:

All scheduled jobs that interact with the database server will be halted Friday, August 30, from 10:31 a.m. until end of business day (unless otherwise announced). These include the Data warehouse refreshes, job submission chains, and most interfaces to 3rd party systems. These jobs will resume their regular schedules when the system is returned to service.

2:00 pm: Banner admin and the Universal Password reset page are restored. If you receive a service invocation failed error in Banner admin pages please log out of Banner then back in.
1:30 pm: We've been made aware that the Universal Password reset function is not currently working. Our admins are working on restoring his service.
11:30 am: Esign has been restored. Some other services such as Banner Admin are still in the process of being restored.
9:35 am: Some services have been reported to be unavailable giving 404 and 503 errors. Our technicians are currently working to restore service. Banner admin, Esign and bullseye pages are known to be affected.
