Spear phishing campaign targeting WWU

A spear phishing campaign is targeting departments at Western. Spear phishing is a type of phishing scam that appears to come from someone you know. This scam targets employees in a specific department by sending an email message that appears to come from the head of that department. The message has no attachments or links, but is simply a vague request for help. The subject of these recent messages is always "Office" and the body of the message asks, "Are you there?" If you reply to the message, the follow up reply will say that they are not able to use the phone and need urgent assistance.
