Setting up a Flipgrid Integration with Canvas

In Fall 2020, WWU vetted Flipgrid for FERPA, Accessibility, Security, and Contracts/Legal, with the advisory note that faculty should exercise caution in regards to protecting student data. As a third party tool, ATUS provides “best effort” support.

The following instructions are available to help faculty to use this tool.

Login through Flipgrid with WWU Microsoft 

  • Go to https://info.flipgrid.com/ 

  • Click Educator Login

  • Select Microsoft Login and use your WWU login. 

    • Now you can get the access key from the Flipgrid Integrations page to add that information to a Canvas course.

    • Now when you go to WWU’s O365 suite of apps, Flipgrid will show up there.
