Electrical Shutdown Reminder: Turn off your computers!

ISSUE

On Sunday, August 20th, Facilities Maintenance will begin a series of annual electrical shutdowns that will impact different buildings on different days between 8/20 and 9/12. 

ACTIONS REQUIRED

Check the myWestern Announcement to see what day your building's electricity will be interrupted. Power off your computers before your building's scheduled shutdown in order to avoid possibly losing unsaved data or problems restarting your computer after power is restored. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It is unlikely that you will encounter any problems if you forget to power off your computer, so the actions required are precautionary. If you do encounter a problem, please contact the Help Desk at 360-650-3333.
