WWU Drupal Site and Network Infrastructure Upgrades Tonight

Tonight, 12/17/2024, WWU Drupal site pages and some network infrastructure will be getting upgrades. 

Drupal site upgrades are scheduled to start at 5pm and may render some sites inaccessible, such as myWestern. During this outage, a system outage page will be displayed during the upgrade process. This outage page will contain links to commonly used services that are not Drupal sites, such as Banner Self Service, Canvas, and email. Non-WWU Drupal sites will remain accessible and are not impacted by these upgrades. 

At 8pm, some network infrastructure will be upgraded. These upgrades are unrelated to the Drupal site upgrades. There may be a brief window of a couple seconds during this upgrade where network connectivity may be impacted during the cutover.
