Windows Computer Login Issues

Due to the nature of the root cause being difficult to track, additional logging has been enabled to help us identify the root issue. Updates will be posted as they become available.

There has been a trend of Windows computers giving a false incorrect username or password error when the universal account credentials have been supplied correctly. We currently have a case open with Microsoft and are closely investigating this issue. 

As a work around, you may need to restart your computer before you are able to log in. We've noticed that simply shutting down doesn't always seem to work, and that the restart option has a higher chance at allowing you to log in. If your computer exhibits issues still, or you encounter a BitLocker screen, please reach out to the Help Desk
