SharePoint documents online may open as View Only

1:00 p.m.: We've received a few reports that some people are sent to a view-only mode of Sharepoint documents when opening files on SharePoint online. You may receive a banner that states "We've encountered some issues and have opened your workbook in Viewing mode." In most cases, you can click edit on that same banner to allow editing.
