The University Bellingham campus is experiencing electrical outages across campus because one of the three main feeders serving campus is malfunctioning, which is preventing the power from being reset. Western's FDO Electrical shop and Puget Sound Energy are responding to the situation, but we do not know how much time will be needed to diagnose and repair the problem.
Phone services are currently disrupted within the following buildings: AB, AH, AA, BG, SV, CS, CM ES, FA (note FA can be served by BH or CM), FI, MU (Harrington Field, MF (FM’s fuel station), MG, MM, MY, PH, PP, TC and a few of the Tunnel Phones
Internet access may be impacted when power returns. Network technicians are prepared to evaluate and resolve issues that result from the loss of power when it returns.
