Phishing Attacks Targeting WWU

Multiple phishing attacks have reached WWU mailboxes in recent weeks. The remote sites are being blocked as we are made aware of new phishing messages, but please be careful when messages contain hyperlinks or attachments that are not expected or have little contextEven if the message appears to come from someone you know, treat it with suspicion if it contains links or attachments you do not expect. Visit the ATUS security page to see examples of recent phishing messages and to view our tips on how to recognize phishing.

If you received any of these messages in your mailbox, please delete them. If you have already clicked a link in the message and entered your username and password, you will need to change your password and security questions immediately. If you have any questions, please contact the Help Desk at 360.650.3333.
