Remote Lab Access

WWU Remote labs may be accessed through our Labstats Remote Connection Portal.

In order to connect to a remote lab, you will either need to be on one of the campus networks, such as WWUwireless-Secure, or connected to the VPN. For connecting to the general university labs, you will also need to be granted access to the remote labs permission group. You may request access by contacting the Help Desk.

On the portal, you will be presented a list of available lab computers. Download one of the connection files and open it to connect remotely to the computer in the lab using you Western Universal Account.

Furthermore, to use some specialty labs, you will need to be enrolled in a class that utilizes the lab space first.
