How do I Customize the Dashboard?

By default, the Canvas dashboard shows you all of your active courses, which are the courses you are currently enrolled in as a student or instructor. It is simple to customize your dashboard and have it show only the courses you wish. 

To customize the courses that will will show in your Dashboard:

1. Click on the COURSES icon in the blue bar to the far left of the Canvas UI
2. Select the ALL COURSES item located the bottom of your course menu

By clicking the hollow stars on the left of the course name they become filled in gold. This indicates that they'll be viewable in your dashboard. Courses that have a hollow star to the left of them will not be shown in the dashboard.
