Checking Final Grades - Students
Accessing Your Final Grades
Each student's official final grades are posted to the Web4U interface and not in Canvas.
Please follow the instructions below and check your final grades in Web4U.
To view academic records on the web if you are a current student or recent graduate:
- Go to www.wwu.edu/web4u
- Current WWU students login with your universal username and password
- Click on “Student”
- Click on “Student Records”
- Click on “Academic History.” If you have a student accounts, loan repayment, or exit interview hold, you will not be able to view academic history and will need to view the “Final Grades” option.
Former Students
Universal Accounts are retained for a one quarter period after a student is unenrolled from classes. For example, if a student is registered for classes during Spring quarter but doesn't register for Summer or Fall quarter, his or her account will be removed during Fall quarter of that year.
Students who no longer have Universal Accounts can sign-in to Web4U with their W Number and PIN instead.
- Go to www.wwu.edu/web4u
- Click on “Log In to Web4U with W#”
- Enter User ID, which is the W number (make sure W is capitalized), e.g. W12345678.
- Enter six-digit PIN
- Click on “Student”
- Click on “Student Records”
- Click on “Academic History.” If you have a student accounts, loan repayment, or exit interview hold, you will not be able to view academic history and will need to view the “Final Grades” option.
If you don’t remember your PIN phone the ATUS Help Desk at 360-650-3333 to have your pin reset.
Additional Information
- WWU does not mail grade reports to students at the end of the quarter.
- If you do not know your WWU Student ID #, please call the Registrar’s Office at (360) 650-3432.
- They will ask you for your name, Social Security #, and birth date to look up your WWU ID #.
- Work prior to Fall 1984 will not be on the Web.
- Use your mouse to move from field to field, not Enter/Return (this will automatically exit)
- While many instructors post an accurate final grade in Canvas; the grades in Web4U are your official grades. If there is a discrepancy, contact your instructor first.
