Banner Admin Pages Authentication Error

When using Banner Admin Pages, you may experience the error "Authentication Failed: Problem in external authentication service." To avoid this error, you will need to select the "click here then the BACK button" link that is on the Banner Welcome screen. After clicking the link, select the web browser's back button to return to the Welcome page, and continue using Banner as usual.

Alternatively, opening Banner Admin Pages in a InPrivate or Incognito browsing tab will allow users to access Banner without selecting the "click here then the BACK button" link. 

Chrome users can also set their browser settings to "allow third party cookies" by navigating to chrome://settings/cookies. If you do not want to allow third party cookies from all sites, you can add [*.]banner.wwu.edu under "Sites allowed to use third-party cookies."
