Intermittent Internet Outages and Slowness - Resolved

3:40 PM: The vendor that provides our primary connection has located the break in the fiber and repaired it. Campus Internet connectivity has been restored to normal operation. If any of your Internet connected applications are still having trouble, please restart your computer. 

2:00 PM: The vendor that provides our connection to the state K20 network (our primary Internet Service Provider) has identified the source of the failure and are actively working to re-route our connection. They are unable to provide an estimated time to recovery at this moment.

11/17/17: There was a brief campus-wide Internet outage from approximately 11:35am to 11:40am. Connectivity continues to be intermittent or slow. Some applications like the Outlook client may not be able to update. Outlook messages might also queue up in your mailbox until connectivity is restored.Outlook will automatically send those messages as soon as it has a solid connection.
EIS staff are investigating.
