Electrical Shutdown Reminder for Tonight: Turn off your computers!

ISSUE

On Tuesday, August 22nd, Facilities Maintenance will continue a series of annual electrical shutdowns that will impact different buildings on different days between 8/20 and 9/12. Tonight's electrical shutdown will impact the following buildings:

• 5:30pm to 10pm: Carver Gym, College Hall, Performing Arts Center, High St Hall, Canada House, Bond Hall, SMATE,
• 6:30pm to 10pm Viking Union, Viking Commons and the Bookstore

ACTIONS REQUIRED

Power off your computers before your building's scheduled shutdown in order to avoid possibly losing unsaved data or problems restarting your computer after power is restored. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It is unlikely that you will encounter any problems if you forget to power off your computer, so the actions required are precautionary. If you do encounter a problem, please contact the Help Desk at 360-650-3333.
